Lets back this up about, oh....quite a while.

Ok, I have a confession. This project didn't start recently. The extra bedroom in our house has been sitting in a partially demolished state for quite some time. We started to demo the extra bedroom a while back and let it sit, partially from lack of funds, but also for lack of motivation and inspiration to really dive in and make it happen. The following pictures start with the original room demo (bonus points if you can figure out why we tore out that room first) and continue up to the current day. Enjoy.

Soooooooooo good to get this carpet up. Allergies should be better this year. :)

This is what collects under old carpet. Yep, we'll be sticking with hard flooring from now on.

So inside the wall, we found evidence of an old door. Awesome part? They did a bang up job of framing in the hole! (*insert sarcasm here*) Yes, this will be getting fixed.

Pretty much the same story on the A/C unit. Who needs A/C in Oregon anyway?! Also getting fixed.

And that is where we are now. Next move is to fix the framing around the back window. The paneling is off and it should be as easy as sizing a header and installing a few studs.
